This lovely old "maison de caractere" comprises a large, old house which dates from 1761, a barn with planning permission and two attached outbuildings. It stands in almost 7100m2 of land with views over the nearby village of Biollet and the mountains of Sancy.
With over 350m2 of habitable accommodation and exceptional features such as traditional French beams to the principal rooms, ancient fireplaces and floors and some historic stonework, this seven bedroom house would make a fantastic family home or a marvellous base for someone wanting to run a residential business or retreat of some sort.
The property has a long history - it was once a large country estate which has been divided over the years. Next to the main house and its enormous barn are an old barn building, an uninhabited small labourer’s house and 250 metres away, a modern cow barn, all owned by a young farmer. The cow barn is used to house his cattle in the winter.
